This year the iaido Bu EC has added a new event into the calendar as a thank you to all those taking part in the AGM. The post AGM event will be a day of structured shiai/enbu training with detailed feedback for all participants. This new event comes with a brand new format, which only works with multiples of 12 attendees. With this in mind, we are going to open registration to mudan-godan participants, with an initial limit of 6 attendees per grade level. Once this limit is reached, booking will no longer be possible via the online system, so please email David Hickey at hickey.davidjames@gmail.com to be put on the waiting list. Once there are two grade levels with six people on the waiting list then another court of 12 will be opened. This can be continued until we have 60 participants/5 courts in total. While this may sound confusing in writing, it will all become very obvious on the day! Please direct any further questions via email.
We will be opening registration for this event at 7pm on Tuesday 23rd May. Registration closes at midnight on Saturday 1st July. Registration cost is only £3 to cover the cost of refreshments on the day. Given the numbers critical nature of this event we would ask that if you need to cancel, please find a stand-in at your own grade level (this could be provided from the waiting list).
