This year the “Watchet” seminar will still be at Danesfield School and will be on 19th & 20th of May.

The theme for this weekend is Hikitsuke (Correct footwork based on drawing left foot up sharply).
Groups divided into mukyu to nikyu, Ikyu to shodan, nidan to godan

- Footwork exercises
- Demonstration of correct kamae, striking action and tenouchi
- Striking practice with emphasis on correct ki-ken-tai-itchi and tenouchi.
- Slow kirikaeshi with suriashi footwork.
11.30 to 11.45. Break
11.45-13.00 Shikake waza-geiko.
13.00-14.00 Lunch Break
14.00-15.00 Kendo no kata
