Shiraoka Cup – 2024

Shiraoka Kendo Kai are inviting everyone to the 4th Shiraoka Cup.

Taking place on the 27th and 28th of April 2024, there will be will be:

• 3-person team event
• Individuals event for over 16s
• Juniors event

Junior event

The junior taikai will take place on Saturday 27 April. This will be a round robin individuals.
It will run in age-bracketed categories, though these may be adjusted depending on number of entrants:

• 6 to 10 years – Scored by Hantei
• 11 to 15 years – Sanbon Shobu

The juniors will start after the team pools have finished. It is recommended that juniors arrive for the start of the event at 10am.

When

Friday 26 April, 8pm to 10pm – Welcome Keiko (Free)

Saturday 27 April, 10am to 5pm – Teams and Juniors competition

Sunday 28 April, 10am to 3pm – Individuals competition
