More successes from the EKC

A brilliant exhibition of kendo demonstrated by the GB Kendo Team – Juniors, Ladies and Men.The event was well prepared, and had a fantastic, atmosphere – true Ko-Ken-Chi-Ai. The Juniors, Ladies and Men’s teams were excellent and all made the last 8 in their shiai.

Individuals saw some fantastic kendo on show.

• Toru Adeyinka won silver in the Junior individuals;
• Rosanna Ogle won Silver in the Ladies individuals; and
• Konradas Rukas won Silver in the Men’s individuals.
• Harrison Fry in the Junior Teams, fighting Spirit for his tenatious fighting as Taisho.

A fantastic tournament, with the GB team looking very strong for the future.Congratulations to all the team, Hiyama Sensei as Coach, Barry Straughan as Manager and all the support staff.
