Dear Dojo Leaders,

At the instigation of Malcolm Goodwin (6th dan and ex British team coach). Cornwall Kendo club has agreed with to host a one day seminar on Sunday 17th April. This is envisaged as the first of a rolling programme of seminars that over time rotate through all the dojos in the SW and S Wales. It will take place at our Ludgvan dojo near Penzance. This is a purpose built gymnasium, the size of a basketball court with a sprung wooden floor. The seminar will begin at 11.00am and finish at 5.00pm, giving time to get there same day if you don’t want to make a weekend trip of it, and also giving reasonable time to get back home before midnight.

Malcolm will lead the seminar and though the details of the content are yet to be worked out, he has indicated, among other things, that there will be some attention given to the forthcoming grading at Watchet as well as teaching principles.

The club here in Cornwall would very much welcome any visitors to this seminar and look forward to entertaining all who make the trip.

Please contact me as soon as you can with an indication of interest and some idea of expected numbers from your dojo.

Kind regards
Phil Booth
Dojo Leader
