Iaido & Jodo West Midlands Seminar 2026

Dear Iaidoka and Jodoka,

We would like to invite you to the West Midlands BKA Iaido and Jodo seminars of 2026. This event will be held on the 16^th & 17^th of May 2026 at:

Shenley Academy,

West Midlands

The Iaido Seminar in the Sports Hall part of the venue will be led by Fay Goodman sensei, Nanadan Kyoshi, assisted by Colin Porter sensei, Rokudan and Ben Emberley sensei, Rokudan.

The Jodo Seminar in the Drama Studio/Theatre part of the venue will be led by Al Colebourn sensei, Nanadan, assisted by Rob Colson sensei, Rokudan Renshi.

A grading will be held on the Sunday and will be up to 4^th Dan in Iaido and 3^rd Dan in Jodo. Grading questions for those taking a Dan level exam will be published approximately 6 weeks prior to the event. The deadline for submission will be 23:59 on the 5^th of May.
