Dear Iaido bu members,
I’d like to welcome you to the Open IT session to be held in Cambridge on Saturday 30th August
2025 at:
Excelsior Academy Sports Hall
Denton Road
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE15 6AF
10:00 start 16:00 finish.
The Training sessions will be led by the Squad coach (Martin Clark Sensei, Renshi Rokudan) and upon availability any Nanadans who are willing to help and assist with the sessions.
I would like if possible to see all medallist from the Nationals attend, and to those who can contribute to forming a working squad so that the Squad Coach and myself can formulate a core of potential squad candidates and choose a competitive team for future selection.
This session is open to all BKA Iaido-bu members, and geared to enhance members level to a higher standard for competing in Taikai. If any dojo has any up and coming Mudan students, please do encourage them to attend, as with everybody, we need to see you all.
Final team selection will be formed by myself, Squad Coach and Bucho. Attendance alone is not a guarantee for a place, but will contribute and go some way to proving your general interest in being part of the overall squad.
I hope that everyone will make an effort to attend and look forward to seeing you.
